15 July 2008 MULLUMBIMBY DRILL HALL FRIDAY JULY 25 calling everyone in the northern nsw region! saritah will be doing a solo performance as part of a community fundraiser next friday july 25. all proceeds from the event will go towards replacing damage done by a flash flood in the northern rivers region in early june. also performing on the night are Simon Fyah (frontman from roots reggae band Fyah Walk), Songbird, Elliott Orr (Spankinhide) and Capoeira Angola Bateria. 16 June 2008 WA TOUR!! saritah is touring WA at the end of june, with shows in Perth, Fremantle and in the South West. See tour dates for show details. These will be the first WA shows of 2008, and the shows will include many tracks off the new album, currently being recorded at Brisbane's Tanuki Lounge Studios. Joining her on the road are Jamie Pattugalan on drums and Stu Barry on bass. 24 May 2008 NEW JAPAN SHOW ADDED! in addition to the GreenRoom festival, saritah will be playing another Yokohama show with Ash Grunwald - see tour dates for details 30 April 2008 MELBOURNE and WA SHOWS ANNOUNCED saritah will be on the road in june, performing a run of solo shows in melbourne and then taking the band to WA for a west coast tour. see tour dates for details. 20 April 2008 SARITAH TO PLAY GREENROOM FESTIVAL, JAPAN saritah will travel to japan next month to perform at the popular greenroom festival in yokohama, japan. she has recently been added to an already impressive lineup of international artists performing at the festival. this will be her debut appearance in japan. 13 March 2008 solo shows in between studio sessions for the upcoming full length album, saritah will be performing a number of select solo shows in SE queensland and northern NSW. these shows will see songs new and old performed stripped back to the simple yet powerful format of guitar and voice. see tour dates for details. 27 January 2008 IN THE STUDIO work on the upcoming full length album has begun! saritah has been working on new tracks at the Tanuki Lounge in Brisbane with paulie b (The Beautiful Girls, george). we are excited to announce saritah has been granted support from artswa|department of culture & the arts for the recording of her next release! she will be going into the studio at the end of this month to begin work on the upcoming ep, due for release in august|september 2005.
